No. Swiper 11 is only loaded when the module has 2 or more testimonials. A single testimonial renders as a lightweight static layout with zero JavaScript dependencies.

Can I hide the star ratings?

Yes. Set the star rating to 0 on any testimonial and the stars are hidden for that item. You can mix testimonials with and without ratings in the same carousel.
